Julie Sexton Bridgewater Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneJulie Sexton Bridgewater, 93, Austin, died Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
Mrs. Bridgewater was a member of Slick Rock Baptist Church, Robbins, Tenn.
Born Oct. 16, 1908, in Scott County, Tenn., she was a daughter of Hiram Sexton and Amelia Robbins. She married Arthur Bridgewater, who died February 4, 1998.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Bridgewater, Seymour, Jim Bridgewater, Detroit, and Jack Robbins, Austin; a daughter, Betty Roy, West Palm Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Marie Chambers, Caryville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Acie, Harold and Paul Sexton; and three sisters, Alma Taylor, Geneva Sexton and Madge Miller.
The Rev. D.G. Morris will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
