Joseph P. "Pat" Brown Obituary
Tribune - March 31, 2010
Joseph P. "Pat" Brown, 73, Medora, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at the home of his brother, Thomas E. Brown.
Mr. Brown was a member of Wray's Christian Church and was discharged from the U.S. Army in 1975. He had worked at Cummins Engine and also at Ford in Bedford.
Born March 17, 1937, in Jackson County, he was the son of Bruce and Lavada McHargue Brown, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Cassandra Kiefer; two brothers, Thomas E. (Brenda J.) Brown and Louie Bruce Brown; one sister, Berniece Boofer; one stepbrother, Richard (Karen) Isaacs; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bonnie Carmichael, Ina Schultz and Bernadean Nowland, and one stepbrother, Bob Isaacs.
Larry Carmichael will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, with military rites.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
