Norma L. Burbrink, 77, Columbus, died Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour.

Mrs. Burbrink was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church, Jonesville. She was a 1945 graduate of Cortland High School and a 1948 graduate of Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital Nursing School.

Born November 22, 1924, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Walter Schlehuser and Cora Dringenburg Schlehuser and they both preceded her in death. On April 23, 1949, in Fort Wayne, she married John A. Burbrink and he also preceded her.

She is survived by two daughters, Eva Dean (Robert) Trapp, North Olmsted, Ohio, and Jill Ann Owens, Evansville; a son, Gregory J. (Bonnie) Burbrink, Columbus; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Burrl (Jo Ann) Schlehuser, New Castle; and two sisters, Janet (Durbin) Day, Richmond, Virginia, and Carol (William) Thompson, Cortland.

She also was preceded by a brother, Owen Schlehuser; and an infant sister, Evelyn Schlehuser.

The Rev. Edgar Keinath will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paulís Lutheran Church, Jonesville. Burial will be at St. Paulís Lutheran Cemetery, Jonesville.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral Service, Burkholder Chapel, Seymour.

Memorials may be made to the St. Paulís Lutheran Church Improvement Fund.
