Roy L. Burton Obituary

Roy L. Burton, 75, David City, Nebraska, died Aug. 27, 2006, in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Mr. Burton enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a retired truck driver.
Born April 15, 1931, in Edinburgh, he was the son of Monte and Ethel Burton.
Survivors include three children, Glenda and Mark Dahlsten, Lincoln, Nebraska, Beth and Jeff Johns, Loma, Nebraska, and Dwayne and Carol Burton, Potter, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-children, Diane Hicks, Pam and Bill Higgon, and Daniel and Kathy Boone, all of Seymour; six step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; five brothers; a son; his first wife, Shirley; his second wife, Ardyce; and special friend, Dorothy Hicks.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the WYUKA cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the WYUKA Funeral Home, Lincoln, Nebraska.
