Jerry Lynn Bush Obituary

Jerry Lynn Bush, 61, Seymour, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mr. Bush served in the United States Army and retired from Cummins after 22 years. He liked to spend time outdoors and work in his garden and was very active in woodworking.
Born June 29, 1944, he was a son of Woodrow Riley Bush and Opal Louise Alexander Bush, both of whom preceded him in death. On September 19, 1966, he married Wanda Beavers Bush, who survives.
Other survivors include three children, Tony (Holly) Bush, Seymour, Mike (Teresa) Bush, Freetown, and Jennifer (Tommy) Meadors, Seymour; a sister-in-law, Betty Bush, North Carolina; two nieces, Cindy Johnson and Connie Keen, and a nephew, Bobby Bush, all of North Carolina; and eight grandchildren, Cornelius Plessinger, Zachery Bush, Meagan Bush, Michael Bush, Brent Bush, Patience Bush, Cory Bush and Emily Hinds.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Riley Eugene Bush and Donald Lee Bush; two sisters, Connie Bush and Carol Jean Bush; and a son, Steven Lynn Bush.
The Rev. Bill Weaver will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Reddington Cemetery. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
