Elizabeth Cain Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneElizabeth Cain, 84, Deputy, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Full Circle Extended Family Care Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Cain was a homemaker and was a member of Coffee Creek Baptist Church in Paris Crossing.
Born June 15, 1917, at Dupont, she was a daughter of Frank Graham and Mae Tingle Graham. On February 9, 1936, in Jefferson County, she married Walter Cain, who died in 1981.
Survivors include a son, Charles Cain, Deputy; three grandsons, Bill Cain and Floyd Cain, both of Deputy, and Tom Cain, Napoleon; two granddaughters, Joy Whitesell, Greenwood, and Patsy Smith, Carrollton, Kentucky; two half brothers, Don Graham, Michigan, and Paul Graham, Plymouth; a half sister, Marjorie Alcorn, Portage; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Cain; two brothers, John Graham and Robert Graham; a half brother, Walter Graham; and a sister, Bertha Sackett.
The Rev. Oscar Sheets and the Rev. Walter Miracle will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Interment will take place at Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given through the funeral home to Coffee Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
