Marjorie Gayle Carter Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneMarjorie Gayle Carter, 62, Bloomington, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at Bell Trace Health and Living Center.
Mrs. Carter was a librarian for the Seymour Public Library and was a member of the Seymour Elks Club.
Born September 25, 1939, in Mitchell, she was a daughter of Leonard L. Tolbert and Ruth M. Pemberton. She married Travis J. Carter and he died in 1988.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Sherrie) Epperson, Indianapolis; a sister, Bobbie (Rod) Figg, Bloomington; three grandsons, Corley Epperson, Conner Epperson and Colt Epperson, all of Indianapolis; a niece, Michelle Figg, and children Zachary and Brooke, Bloomington; an aunt, Helen Roberts, Mitchell; and two cousins, David Roberts, Somers, Conneticutt, and Joanne Terrell, Mitchell.
She also was preceded by a son, Mark Epperson.
The Rev. Wendy Vanderzee will conduct graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bloomington.
