Mark Wayne Champion Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneMark Wayne Champion, 28, died at 10:57 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2002, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital, North Vernon.
Mr. Champion was a supervisor at Atmosphere Annealing Inc., North Vernon. He was a 1992 graduate of Jennings County High School, North Vernon, and attended New Life Church, North Vernon. He enjoyed fishing and coon hunting.
Born December 23, 1973, in Columbus, he was the son of William C. “Bud” and Alice Pratt Champion, and they both survive in North Vernon. On March 22, 1996, at the Church of God in North Vernon, he married Glenda Arms and she also survives.
He also is survived by two daughters, Brittany and Jordan Champion, both of North Vernon; a son, Bret Champion, North Vernon; a sister, Marsha Champion Tyler, North Vernon; and two nephews, Ryan Champion and Isiah Tyler, both of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Raymond and Bessie Pratt and Rosa Cavanaugh.
The Rev. Bruce Carrier will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given for a fund for his children through the funeral home.
