Sharon Ann Clark Obituary
Tribune - January 10, 2011Sharon Ann Clark, 78, of Seymour passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood.
Sharon was born in Seymour on March 20, 1932, the daughter of Kenneth Lee and Charity Elizabeth (Jaynes) Hall.
On April 9, 1955, she married Lyston Eugene Clark Sr., who preceded her in death June 22, 1981. Sharon was a member of First Baptist Church, Seymour. She retired from Lear Siegler after 19 years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxilary of the Eagles Club.
Sharon was an avid reader, loved the outdoors and enjoyed a visit from family and friends. She loved fixing meals for her family as she loved to cook.
Sharon is survived by her children, Joan Elaine Gossett, Lyston Eugene Clark Jr. (Lisa Riggs), Kenneth Dale Clark (Jayne Ellen Storey), Richard Wayne Clark, James David (Lori Marie) Clark and Deborah Rose Clark; six grandchildren, Angie Gossett, Justin (Heather) Clark, Ryan (Sara) Clark, Paige Nicole Clark, James David Clark, Jr. and David Lyston Vogel; two great-grandchildren, Ryder Matthews Clark, Aubriella Faith Clark; and three brothers, Mike Hall, Scott Edward Hall and Pat Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, William David Hall; and sisters, Nancy Ruth Otto and Judy Caplinger.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Bruce Cochran officiating.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
