Kirbie K. Cockerham Obituary
Tribune - December 3, 2010Kirbie K. Cockerham, 66, Norman, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
Mr. Cockerham was a retired painting contractor and had worked for several years at Rose Acre Farms. He enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets, playing pool, woodworking and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Travis.
Born August 20, 1944, in Jackson County, he was the son of Herbert D. and Anna M. Wetzel Cockerham, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Clifford (Sherry) Cockerham, Misty, Michelle and Kirbie Cockerham; grandson, Travis Cockerham, and several other grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Campbell and Sharon Baker; and brothers, Randy Cockerham and Neil Cockerham.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman Dale Cockerham, Lannie Cockerham and Jack Cockerham, and sisters, Pamela Cockerham and Annie Cockerham.
The Rev. David Fisher will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
