Phyllis R. Cone, 82, of North Vernon died Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at her residence.
A memorial mass was held Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Born August 28, 1923, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of Phillip E. and Janice O. Stanton McQuillan. She married
James R. Cone, July 18, 1944, in Kokomo. He survives.
Mrs. Cone had worked at R.R. Donelly in Seymour. She had completed one year of business school in Kokomo. She had was
a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the Alter Society and the Rosary Society, all of
St. Mary's Church.
Surviving are six children: Shirley Roy of Hyde Park, Utah, Deborah Stahl of Bristol, Tenn., Philip Cone of
Columet, Michigan, Julie Cosby of San Antonio, Texas, Leo Cone of Seymour, and Jennifer Ertel of North Vernon; one brother,
Patrick McQuillin of Ringwood, Illinois; 22 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cone was preceded in death by her parents and a twin sister, Janice Limbeck.
Arrangement were made by Vance~Fisher~Sawyer Funeral Chapel.
