William Couch Jr. Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneWilliam Couch Jr., 66, Scottsburg, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Austin.
Mr. Couch was a retired heavy equipment operator for Adams Construction Co. in Hazard, Kentucky, was a former bus driver and was a former employee of Green Thumb. He was a member of Shelter of the Sheep Church.
Born September 13, 1935, in Hazard, Kentucky, he was a son of William and Martha Couch. His wife, Elva Couch, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Couch, Scottsburg, and Ronnie Couch, Austin; three daughters, Mary L. Couch, Commiskey, and Sherry Smith and Betty Richey, both of Austin; a sister, America Barker, Cleves, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Oma Baker and Susie Campbell, and a brother, Harrison Couch.
The Rev. Green Neace will conduct services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Spurgeon Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
