Steve Cummings, 60, Fort of Myers, Florida, and formerly of Jackson County, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, at
Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers.
Mr. Cummings was employed by Allied Engineering, where he worked as a job superintendent. He enjoyed fishing and cooking,
especially barbecuing. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Medora.
Born July 14, 1949, in Jackson County, he was the son of Gene and Margie Gilbert Cummings, both of whom survive in Medora. On
May 14, 1982, in Florida, he married Crystal Arnold, who survives.
Others survivors include three daughters, Melinda Armstrong, Bedford, Christen Carter, Scipio, and Gabrielle Cummings,
Fort Myers, Florida; one sister, Tracy (Troy) Champ, Wisconsin; two brothers, Randy (Alice) Cummings, Clearspring, and Phil Cummings,
Medora; and two granddaughters.
Hurschell Joslin will conduct a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Medora.
