Betty Jean Davis Obituary
Seymour Daily TribuneBetty Jean Davis, 62, Austin, died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker.
Born January 13, 1940, in Perry County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Noah McIntosh and Carlie Mae Thorpe McIntosh, who both preceded her in death. She married William Henry Davis and he also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, William Henry Davis Jr., LaFollette, Tennessee, and Jerry Lee Davis, Austin; three daughters, JoAnn Davis, Loretta Lynn Turner and Rita Kaye Davis, all of Austin; 10 grandchildren; five brothers, Charles McIntosh and Eugene McIntosh, both of LaFollette, Tennessee, Noah McIntosh Jr., Austin, Paul Ray McIntosh, Blocher, and Raymond McIntosh Crothersville; and two sisters, Dorothy Davis and Pearlie Walton, both of Austin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be at Spurgeon Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
