Reunion, Company Reunion
"h" of the Indiana 100th meets.
The annual reunion of Company
"H" of the one hundredth Indiana
is being held today at the home of Mel Near, on the north line of Green Twp.,
and is being well attended by the "boys" who served in the company
during the ark days.
Company "B" has
organized. Quite a number of the veterans who served in company
"H" of the Morton Rifler--the Thirty fourth Indiana were in the
city today and were dined at the noon
hour by Col. Nim Headington at the Headington Resturant. Among
those present were B.F. Harter, Ab Hyde, Henry Stowell, Nimrod
Headington, S.P. Morrow, Ed. Siders, and Samuel Laport of
Near Market, Iowa. Mr.
Laport who is the guest of Al Martin of Penn twp. and had not seen his
old comrades for thirty three years and the reunion was a most enjoyable one.
Isaac Swallow, a member, was killed at Smith
Center , Kansas, July
7, 1899, by the falling of a bank barn. Those of the comapny
residing in this immediate section of the country are: B.F. Harter of

of Royerton, Joshua Siders of Redkey, John Schull of
Montpeilier, John M. Thomas and J. L. Walker of Green and Wm.
Votaw of Geneva.
