Star Special Service) Guardian of Aged Woman Commences Suit to Have the
Conveyance Set Aside. Portland, Ind., Dec. 26.- Suit was commenced
today by Albert Brunson, guardian of Mrs. Jane Brown, to have the court set
aside the conveyance of her valuable oil farm in Jackson township. Mrs.
Brown, who was Mrs. LaFollette until some time in September, transferred her
$10,000 farm to her new husband, Daniel E. Brown, and her guardian, who was
appointed only a few days ago, alleges in his complaint that she never
received any consideration except Brown's hand in marriage. It was this conveyance and the other sensational circumstances attending the wedding that caused a jury to decide that Mrs. Brown was of unsound mind. |
