County. Portland, Ind., Dec. 29.- Stockholders of the
Kentucky Mining and Improvement company, owners of a large tract of leases in
Noble township, Jay county are here inspecting the property and making
arrangement to drill several new wells at once. The party was composed of Orville G. Coen, Elnora; Frank H. Bowen, Roachdale; J. T. Edwards, Greencastle; Charles W. Scoggin, Indianapolis; H. O. Winters, Indianapolis; C. Fenwick Reid, Terre Haute; John L. Moore, Indianapolis; Newton J. McGuire, Indianapolis; Charles Cooper, Greencastle; Robert Clark, Indianapolis; William Wells, Lee Wood, Charles Dills and Arthur Lancaster, of Greencastle. |
