Beatrice Loy

   Services for Mrs. Beatrice A. Loy, 66, RR 3, Portland, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.  Pastor Darrell Taggart will officiate.  Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery.

   Mrs. Loy died Thursday morning at the Jay County Hospital after an illness of one day.  She was employed in the office of the Wayne Township Assessor.

   Born in Jay County on Jan. 28, 1911, she was the daughter of Colwell and Carrie B. (Smith) Coldren.  She was married Jan. 25, 1936 to Cleo (Late) Loy, who survives.

   Mrs. Loy was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.  She also belonged to the Portland Grange No. 2190; Alpha Rebekah Lodge No. 307, and Wayne 59ers Extension Homemakers Club.

   Surviving besides her husband are one son, Michael Loy, Moro, Ill.; two brothers, Charles Coldren, RR 3, Portland, and Colwell (Jiggs) Coldren, Portland; four sisters, Miss Lillian Coldren, Mrs. Frank (Edith) Stafford, Mrs. Marvin (Thelma) Tullis, all of Portland; and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Kirgan, Fort Recovery, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
   Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.  The Rebekah Lodge will conduct memorial services at 8 p.m. tonight in the mortuary chapel.
