CARY WALKER died at his residence in Greene township, Jay county, Ind., Oct. 4, 1888, aged 68 years, 6 months and 6 days. He was born in Virginia, and when a young man, moved to Ohio, and from thence to Jay county, and was one of the pioneers of this county. He endured the hardships of this county, was active, jovial, generous, and never complained. The morning he was taken sick, he was singing praises to God, to whom he was devoted, and of whose wonderful love he often testified. He was a member of the U. B. Church. The remains were interred in the Claycomb cemetery.

Deceased leaves a wife and four childrenthree sons and one daughterand many friends, to mourn. Funeral sermon by P. C. Bechdolt, the writer.
