Former Redkey Boy Killed in Air Crash


Redkey, Ind., Sept. 11 - Lt. Dale Crist, formerly of Redkey, met death in the mid-air crash of two Army bombers August 31 over the English channel.  Lieutenant Crist, 23, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crist of Anderson.  His grandmother, Mrs. Nora Crist, resides in Redkey, as does an aunt, Mrs. Naomi Thomas.  The Crist family resided in Redkey several years, later moving to Anderson.  Lieutenant Crist landed in England August 8.
