Dema McLaughlin

Portland - Mrs. Dema A. McLaughlin, 72, widow of Charles H. McLaughlin, died Thursday in Jay County Hospital.  She was a member of United Church of Christ, and three auxiliaries, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and World War I Barracks.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joe Quinton, Anderson; two sons, Carl R. and Glen S. McLaughlin, Portland; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lewis Sharp, Redkey, and Mrs. George Cox, Newport Richey, Fla.; one stepson, Charles H. McLaughlin, Muncie; three brothers, Whitson Reynolds, Parker, Kenneth Reynolds, Portland, and Dwight Reynolds, Sanford, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Price, Connersville, Mrs. Harold Miles, Greensburg, and Mrs. Robert Fudge, Rushville; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Saturday.  Services will be there at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. J. Robert Coovert and Roger Rankin officiating.  Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
