Mrs. Elizabeth Geiger of Green township, Jay county, Ind., was born in Jefferson township, Franklin Co., Ohio, Oct. 18, 1828, and departed this life May 14, 1905

Deceased was 77 years and 26 days old.   Mrs. (sic) Elizabeth Rochelle was married to Anthony Geiger in Franklin Co., Ohio, May 5, 1853, and during their 50 years of happy wedded life it was enjoyed in their present home.   To them were born 8 children, 4 sons and 4 daughters, and one daughter has preceded her to the better land

The funeral was preached at the house by Rev. Fred Stovenour.  Interment in Green Park cemetery

(A second obituary for Elizabeth Geiger)

 MRS. ELIZABETH GEIGER was born in Franklin Co., Ohio, October 18, 1828, and died at her home in Greene township, Indiana, May 14, 1905, aged 77 years, 6 months and 26 days.   

 Elizabeth Rochelle was married to Anthony Geiger, May 5, 1853.  To this union were born 8 children, 4 sons and 4 daughters.  Three daughters and two sons are left to mourn her departure.  She lived and died a good woman.  Her married life was a happy life.  Funeral was conducted by Rev. F. Stovenour at the home of the deceased.  The remains were laid to rest in Green Park cemetery to await the resurrection summons.
