Ellen Beeler Dies Suddenly on Tuesday P.M.
Heart Trouble Proves Fatal to Pioneer Resident of Wabash Twp.
Ellen Beeler died Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the family home, ten miles northeast of this city in Wabash township. She had been ailing for about six weeks from heart trouble, but her condition was not thought to be serious. She had eaten her dinner and was about as usual when she was stricken by the attack.
The deceased was a daughter of William and Rebecca (Cluster) Gibson and was born in Wabash township October 28, 1850. She had spent practically her entire life in the township where she was born.
She was united in marriage to Enos Beeler, October 27, 1870, who survives with the following children: Samuel Beeler, of Ft. Wayne; Harvey Beeler of Lansing, Mich.; Wesley Beeler, of Noble township; Arthur Beeler, of Bluffton; Fred Beeler, of Wabash township; Mrs. Elmer Roach of Noble township; Mrs. James Fennig of Wabash, O.; and Mrs. Charles Street, of Noble township. One son preceded her in death.
She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one brother, Hamilton Gibson, of Rockford, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10:00 o’clock, Central Standard Time, from the State Line Church. Rev. Fred Young will officiate. Interment will be made in the State Line Cemetery
