Mrs. Erma Sherman
Portland - Mrs. Erma G. Sherman, 72, Largo, Fla., a former Portland resident and the wife of Fred O. Sherman, died Monday in a Clearwater, Fla., hospital.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Methodist Church. 

Surviving besides the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Lee Lilley, Houston, Tex., a granddaughter; and a niece, Mrs. Cleon Hutchison, Redkey. 

The body is being brought to the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday.  Services will be there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Charles Fields officiating.  Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery
