 Funeral services for MRS. ESTHER ROWLAND, 74, RR 2, Portland, will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Union Methodist Church, near Blaine.  Rev. Donald Barnes will officiate, assisted by Rev. Fred Luthy.  Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery

  Mrs. Rowland died Saturday morning at the Lutheran Rest Home in Racine, Wis., after an extended illness.
  Born in 1899 at Tipton, her parents were Charles and Bertha (Cochran) McCrory.  She was married Aug. 14, 1920 to Millard Rowland, who died Aug. 5, 1972.


 Mrs. Rowland was a member of the Blaine United Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church.  Surviving are one son, Robert Rowland, Racine, Wis., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.   Callers will be received at the funeral home until Tuesday noon when the body will be removed to the church
