Everett Hudson, 52, World War II Vet
Everett "Gene" Hudson, 52, 100 Shellbark Drive, died Thursday
at his home following a long illness. A Warner Gear employe, he was a
member of the Sympathy Club there and was a World War II veteran. He
earned both the Bronze and Silver Stars in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by his wife, Marynel; three sons, Jay, Kenneth and Douglas, all
of Muncie; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Neely Hudson, Redkey; five
sisters, Mrs. Anna Lee Lowry and Mrs. Daytha Daniels, both of Redkey, Marjorie
Hudson, Albany, Mrs. Phoebe Jane Tatman, Hartford City, and Mrs. Jay Stanley,
Selma; two brothers, Harold, Holly Hill, Fla., and Bill Oblinger, Fort Wayen;
three step-sisters, Mrs. Leoda Roberts, Mrs. Leona Spillman and Mrs. Lillian
White, all of Redkey; a stepbrother, Leon Schooley, Albany; and three
grandchildren.
One son, Larry Gene, preceded his father in death.
