Minister's Wife is Dead


Word has been received here of the death late Thursday in Connersville of Mrs. Fern Hunt, 55, wife of Dr. Virgil Hunt of the United Brethern Church there.  She died of injuries suffered in an auto mishap north of Connersville March 8. 

A native of Redkey, Mrs. Hunt was the daughter of John and Cora (Fisherbuck) Wilson.  Her husband is widely known in Eastern Indiana and was conference superintendent of the United Brethern Churches from 1939 until 1950. 

Also surviving are a son, Bernard Hunt, Bossier City, La.; a granddaughter, Devedia, Hunt, also of Bossier City; three brothers, Don, Paul, and Virgil Wilson, all of Anderson, and a sister, Mrs. Darrel Midlam, Redkey. 

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the United Brethren Church in Connersville, the Rev. K.K. Merryman of Indianapolis officiating.  Burial will be at the Shrine of Memories in Connersville.  Friends may call at the Myers Funeral Home in Connersville after 11 a.m. Sunday
