Redkey, Ind. - Gail H. Daniels, 56, R.R. 2, Dunkirk, died Sunday in Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond following a heart attack.
A native of Jay County, he was the son of Glenna Hiatt and Harry Daniels.  He retired from the Fisher Body Company in Marion after serving 23 years.  Daniels served in the Marine Corp during World War II.  He was a member of Halfway Masonic Lodge of Redkey, the Redkey American Legion. Portland Moose Lodge, Dunkirk Elks, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.  He was a past associate guardian of the Dunkirk Jobs Daughter Bethel No. 87.
Survivors include his wife, Daytha (Hudson) Daniels, Redkey; two sons, Robert Daniels, Portland, and Danny Daniels, Muncie; three daughtes, Kristy Helm, Redkey, Darla Hatch, Dunkirk, and Shari Anderson, Winchester; three sisters, Dortha Barnell, Redkey, Betty Wood, Redkey, and Sara Kalbl, St. Mary's Ohio; three brothers, Claude Daniels, Fort Wayne, and Harley and Joe Daniels, both of Pennville; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones Mortuary in Redkey with Rev. Lewis Hathaway officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey.  A Masonic Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

Friends may call at the mortuary 4-9 p.m. Monday and prior to the service Tuesday
