Portland Abstractor Dies at Family Home
Portland,
Ind., April 7 - George W. Hall, 89, widely-known abstractor and
former member of the Jay County Bar, died today at his home, 905 West Walnut
street, after an extended illness. He was born near
Dunkirk.
Surviving are the widow, Emma; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Stokes of
Grand Rapids; three grandchildren, and one brother,
Frank, of Fort Smith,
Ark.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock
Monday afternoon at the Baird Chapel by the Rev. Edward McCance. Burial will be
in Green
Park Cemetery.
