Commercial Review, Tuesday, October 16, 1928

    HARLOW W. HYSELL died this morning at 9:50 o’clock at the home on West Seventh street.  He suffered a paralytic stroke about two years ago, and since that time he has been in failing health.  This with the infirmities of age was the cause of death. 

   The deceased was a son of Francis and Mary Jane (Simpson) Hysell, and was born in Meigs county, Ohio, August 7, 1851.  At the time of death he had reached the age of 77 years, 6 months and 9 days.  He was united in marriage to Rhuie Kress, who survives him, with the following children:  Clint Hysell of Portland;  Gordon Hysell of Piqua, Ohio;  Mrs. R.S. Hiatt of Belvidere, Illinois, and Clyde Hysell, at home.  There are seven living grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

   He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Flora Carr, of Kent, Michigan, and one brother, Roland Hysell, also of Michigan.  Three brothers and three sisters are deceased. 

   Funeral services will be conducted from the late residence, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock.  Rev. J.H. Nall, pastor of the Portland U.B. church will officiate.  Interment will be made in Green Park cemetery
