Mrs. Iris A. Stone, 60, died at 9 o’clock Sunday morning after a heart attack at her home one and one-half miles north of Salamonia in Noble township.   She had been in failing health for several years   

   On April 2, 1910, she married Lewis A. Stone, who died July 29, 1942.  Survivors include two daughters, Miss Majorie (sic) Stone, at home, and Mrs. Martha Nell Betz, wife of William Betz, of Portland; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Vera Chapman, wife of Merrill Chapman, of Blackford county, Ind., and Mrs. Gleda Bickel, wife of Lester Bickel, of Noble township;  five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;  one brother,  Charles V. Banta, of Champaign, Il., and Mrs. Ola Hiatt, wife of Chester Hiatt, of Greene township.   Two brothers and three infant sons are deceased. 

   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Salamonia Reforned Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. H.G. Perry, the pastor, in charge.  Burial will be in the Spring Hill cemetery near Fort Recovery, O. 

The body will be left at the Williamson Funeral Home in Portland, where friends may call until the hour of the funeral
