(An Abstract)
Mrs. Jennie P. Smith,
75, wife of Palmer J. Smith, died at her home on East Main street Sunday evening
at 6:10 following an illness of 2 weeks.
Born March 22, 1848.
Daughter of Erastus and Mary Winters.
Married March 2, 1868 Palmer
J. Smith. Had 4 children: W.
Lea Smith, of this city; George H. Smith, of this city, one daughter Hattie E.
Smith died June 21, 1920, and an infant son preceded the mother in death.
Two grandchildren survive: W.P. Smith, D.C., and Mary Josephine Smith,
both (sic) of this city, one brother, Johial Winters, of Portland.
Deceased came to Portland
October 11, 1883.
