Commercial Review, Saturday, March 26, 1910

  RACHEL LOVENA GAUNT, wife of Lee Gaunt, and mother of Walter Gaunt of Portland, died at her home near Bluffton at 5 o'clock Friday evening after an illness of ten days of pneumonia.

  Five sons and two daughters survive, they being, Walter, of Portland;  Jacob, of Bluff Point;  Edward;  Harry;  Chauncey;  Prudence and Maggie, at home.
  The following sisters survive, Prudence, wife of W.B. Swain of this city;  Mrs. Laura Vincent, of VanBuren;  Mrs. Libby Whaley, of Green Post Office;  Mrs. Priscilla Whaley, of Como.
She was born and raised in Preble County, Ohio, and lived in Grant County several years, moving from there to Bluffton, two years ago, where she has since resided.  She was about 52 years of age.
  The remains will be brought here Monday morning at 9:30 over the C.B. and C. Railroad and will be taken directly to the United Brethren Church at Hopewell where the funeral will be held.   Interment will take place in the Claycomb Cemetery
