Ruth (Nelson)
Osenbaugh
Ruth E. Osenbaugh, 77, 313 W. Penn St., Portland, died Thursday
evening at Jay County Hospital. She was a member of the Portland
First Church of the Nazarene. Born Nov. 4, 1919 in Winchester,
she was the daughter of Fred and Christene (Lovell) Nelson. She
was married July 20, 1940 to Albert Osenbaugh, who survives.
Survivors besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Paul
(Janet) Resler, Fort Recovery [Ohio]; two sons, the Rev. Robert
G. Osenbaugh, Marion [Indiana] David L. Osenbaugh, Portland;
three sisters, Marjorie Nelson, Winchester; Mrs. Toby (Marilyn)
Schrock and Mrs. Ed (Carol) Robbins, both of Fort Wayne; one
brother Paul Nelson, Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren. Services are set for 2 p.m. Sunday in the
Portland First Church of the Nazarene with Pastors William and
Shirley Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery. Williamson and Spencer
Funeral home
