MRS. SADIE DENNEY, 67, died at 3 o'clock Monday morning at
her home on South Meridian street, following an illness of the past two years of
complications. Her condition has been serious during the past month.
Mrs. Denney came to Portland forty years ago from Madison township, Jay
County. She was born June 1, 1859 at Zanesville, Ohio, being the daughter of
John M. and Anna J. (White) Henry.
Surviving are one son, J. Ray Denney, of the firm of Reinhard & Denney, men's
clothiers, of this city, and three daughters, Ina; Florence; and Gladys
Denney, all at home; also one grandson, James Denney.
The deceased was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge and the Methodist church of this city. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the late residence, South Meridian street. Interment will be made in Green Park cemetery
