SAMUEL L. IMEL, a prominent framer of Madison township, died at the home of his son Frank Imel, southeast of here, Wednesday night at 11:30 o'clock.   Mr. Imel had been sick for some time suffering from a paralytic stroke and complications of diseases.

  The deceased was born in Perry county, Ohio, January 23, 1846, his 72nd birthday being Wednesday.   Mr. Imel is a well known farmer of Madison township, and was trustee of that township for many years.
  Two children, Frank Imel, southeast of here at whose home he died;   Weldon Imel, three miles east of here, survive.   Also the following brothers and sisters survive, Ezra Imel and Thomas Imel, of this city,  Nathaniel Imel and Mrs. Levi Colby of Union City, and Mrs. Sarah Eley of Boundry.

  Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Antioch church.   Interment will be made at Antioch
