Mrs. Vecil Rex, 75, Dies in Rest Home

Richmond - Mrs. Vecil Rex, 75, a resident of Redkey, died Tuesday morning in Heritage Nursing Home here.  She was the widow of Ralph Rex.

A former Jay County treasurer, Mrs. Rex was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church at Dunkirk.  She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Redkey.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jane E. Finch of Richmond and Mrs. Judith Denhart of Hagerstown; two sons, Gene of Okemas, Mich., and Jack of Alburquerque, N.M.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rex will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Jones Mortuary at Redkey.  Rev. Bill Rogers of Dunkirk will officiate.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery at Redkey.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 p.m. today
