   William A. Coulson, 71, of West North  street, Dunkirk, died Saturday afternoon at 1:45 from a heart ailment at the Ball Hospital at Muncie.  He had been ill for about two weeks.  He was a retired painter and was a native of Jay county.

   He was the son of John and  Susan (Fleming) Coulson.   Survivors include the widow, Eathel;  a son, Kenneth, of Elwood;  two grandchildren;  and the following brothers and sisters,  Hattie Stillwell of Albany;  Bessie Faulkner of Dunkirk;  Mabel Godlove of Muncie;  Mrs. Ona Burden of Muncie; and Ray and Clarence of Portland;  and several nieces and nephews. 

   He was a member of the F.O.E. of Marion, and the Local No. 1311, Painters Union, of Dunkirk. 

   Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Jones Mortuary at Dunkirk, with the Rev. H.W. Lashbrook in charge.  Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Jones Mortuary at Dunkirk.
