Anne Pence Acree, 50, Farmland, died Friday at her home. She was the daughter of
Dunkirk residents.
Born in Muncie on Sept. 14, 1956, to Donald and Shirley (Martin) Pence, her
husband Rodney W. Acree preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Ball State University and was bar manager at Amvet's Post
No. 12 in Muncie.
She had also worked at Ball Memorial Hospital and Advantage Home Care as a
nurse's aide and in the family business, Sir Rod's Construction.
Survivors include her parents Donald and Shirley Pence, Dunkirk; two daughters,
Charity Rachelle Acree and Tylenia Elizabeth Pence, both of Farmland; four sons,
Donald Michael Lee Pence, Muncie, Cody Grant Acree, Forney, Texas, Rodney James
Acree, North Pole, Alaska, and Ashley Wayne Acree, Mango; two brothers, John
Joseph Pence and Patrick Pence, both of Hartford City; six grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at M.J.S. Mortuaries-Farmland Chapel with the
Rev. Dr. Rusty Clemens officiating.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Farmland at a later date.
Visitation is today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
