I want to thank Marie "Bille" McGannon of Paris, Jennings County, Indiana for allowing me to use information she has spent her 90+ years in Jennings County gathering. I also want to thank Marti Blazick for making and sending me a CD of the documents so I have them to transcribe. Many of these documents are very old and have errors because people had less resources and repeated what they had been told which over the years did not always prove to be correct. A perfect example is in my family only two of their seven children are mentioned in a local history. I believe in making as much information as possible available but be sure to use it to do more research and verify what you find.
