Michael Beyersdorfer, 67, died Thursday, April 4, 2002,
at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. He was a resi-
dent of Greenwood.
He was born Oct. 25, 1934, in Indianapolis. His parents
were John and Francis (Jones) Beyersdorfer. He married
Betty (Dunham) Beyersdorfer on April 19, 1956, in Indiana-
polis. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Patty
Huesman of New Palestine; three sons, Mike Beyersdorfer Jr.
of Mooresville, John Beyersdorfer of Middletown and Steve
Beyersdorfer of Indianapolis; a brother, John Beyersdorfer
of Indianapolis; and 14 grandchildren.
He was a draftsman for 11 years at United Technologies
Carrier, retiring in 1997.
He enjoyed restoring cards and traveling.
He was an eight-year member of the U.S. Naval Reserve.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today
at Nineveh Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
today at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home
