   Lena Bills


 A service for Lena Bills, 75,
Faith Nursing Home, Edin-
burgh, will be held at 10 a.m.
Thursday at Eskew Funeral
Home in Edinburgh with the
Rev. Hugh Owen officiating.
  Friends may call after 4
p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
home. Burial will be at Nine-
veh Cemetery.
  Mrs. Bills was born April 15,
1907, in Johnson County to
Basil and Lora (Cook) Spur-
geon. She married Nelson Bills
July 16, 1950. He survives.
  Other survivors include two
sons, Alonzo and Bobby L.
Burdine, both of Indianapolis,
and a daughter, Madeline Bur-
dine, Edinburgh.
  Also surviving is a brother,
Carl Spurgeon, two half broth-
ers,Darrel and Thadeus Spur-
geon, all of Indianapolis, and a
half sister, Wanda Stock,
Greenwood. Four grandchil-
dren and three great-grand-
children also survive.
