Alonzo S. Bowman
  Alonzo S. Bowman, 56, died Friday
at Johnson Memorial Hospital in
Franklin. He was a resident of
Franklin.
  He was born April 4, 1935, in Hart
County, Ky. His parents were Wil-
liam R. Bowman and Sally Jane
(Butler) Bowman. He married Lola
"Lou" (Hall) Bowman March 17,
1973. She survives. Other survivors
include two sons, Stephen Bowman
and Timothy Bowman, both of Jupi-
ter, Fla.; three half-brothers, Fred
Bowman of Washington, Ind., Stanley
Bowman of Kissimmee, Fla., and
Lennie Priddy of Upton, Ky.; a sis-
ter, Mildred "Patty" Taylor of Shel-
byville; four half-sisters, Nellie L.
Jolly of Horse Cave, Ky., Leona
Nicely and Christine Frye, both of
Greenwood, and Annabelle Riggs of
Upton, Ky.
  He was employed as a factory
worker by Ford Motor Co. for more
than 24 years.
He was a member of Local Union
1111 Auto Workers and the Saddle
Club of Edinburgh.
  He was a U.S. Army veteran.
  A service will be conducted at 11:30
a.m. Tuesday at Wilson-St. Pierre
Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call
from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
