David H. Bowman

    David H. Bowman, 69, died Sunday
at his home in Whiteland.
    He was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Stau-
ton, Va. His parents were Ward Bow-
man and Ada (Miller) Bowman.
    Survivors include a son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dick Bowman and Marsha
Bowman of Greenwood; and a sister,
Maria Perdue of Clifton Forge, Va.
    He owned Bowman Auto Sales in
Whiteland for 27 years.
    He was a member of Greenwood
Christian Church and charter mem-
ber of the Franklin Elks Club 1818.
    He was a Army veteran of World
War II.
    The Rev. Shan Rutherford will con-
duct a memorial service at 7 p.m.
Wednesday at Flinn and Maguire Fu-
neral Home in Franklin.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contri-
butions may be made to New White-
land Volunteer Fire Department, 401
Mooreland Dr., New Whiteland, Ind.
46184, or the American Heart Asso-
ciation, Johnson County chapter.
