Jeff Bowman
    Jeff Bowman, 72, died Thursday
at Richard L. Roudebush Medical
Center in India-
napolis. He was
a   resident  of
Edinburgh.
  He was born
Jan. 5, 1925, in
Clay    County,
Ky. His parents
were Grandville
and Mary
(Cheek) Bow-
man. He mar-
ried Inez Isa-
bella Vinson
Oct. 6, 1946, in
Franklin. She
preceded him in death.
  Survivors include a son, Jeffrey
Dale "Jeff" Bowman of Edinburgh;
two brothers, Ordell Harris of
Vallonia and Delbert Bowman of
Campbellsburg; a grandchild; and a
great-grandchild. He also was pre-
ceded in death by four brothers and
four sisters.
  He was a laborer for Moorman
Herrington in Indianapolis.
  He was an army veteran of World
War II, serving in the Pacific
Theater.
  A service will be conducted at 1
p.m. Tuesday at Vandivier-Tudor
Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends
may call from 11 a.m. until time of
service Tuesday at the funeral
home. Burial will be at Greenlawn
Cemetery in Franklin.
