BOWMAN, L. Floyd

L. Floyd Bowman
    L. Floyd Bowman, 77, died
Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at his resi-
dence in Columbus. 
  He was born Nov. 10, 1922, in
Franklin. His parents were Olin
and Dessie (Henderson) Bowman. 
Survivors include a son, James R.
Bowman of Columbus; his compan-
ion, Bessie Hundley Greathouse of
Columbus; a brother, Lennis L.
Bowman of Franklin; a sister,
Marie Morrow of Franklin; six
grandchildren; and 11 great-grand-
children. He was preceded in death
by a son, William B. Bowman.
  He was formerly employed in the
paint and body department of
Robertson Chevrolet in Edinburgh.
A service will be conducted at 1
p.m. Monday at Myers Funeral
Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel
on Pearl Street in Columbus.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m.
Sunday and from noon until ser-
vice time Monday at the funeral
home. Entombment will be at
Garland Brook Mausoleum.
