Pearl E. Brickey, 80, of Edinburgh died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 1992, at Johnson County Memor­ial Hospital.

She was a member of Edinburgh United Meth­odist Church, United Meth­odist Women and the Greenwood Senior Citi­zen’s Center. She grad­uated in 1929 from Clif­ford High School and re­tired from Brunings in Columbus in 1969. She was employed at Swanks in Frank­lin.

Funeral was Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home. Rev. Nancy Chizmar offic­iated.

Memorials may be made to Edinburgh United Meth­odist Church.

Born May 1, 1911 in Bar­tholomew County, Mrs. Brick­ey was the daughter of William Everroad and Blanche Smith. She mar­ried Arthur Brickey Nov. 27, 1930. He died Dec. 18, 1982.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Lloyd Brickey, of Livonia, Mich.; a daugh­ter, Colleen Moore, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; grand­sons Timothy Lloyd, Thomas Lynn and John Moore Brickey; and three great-grandchildren.
