Otis Von Burton
      Otis Von Burton, 82, Edinburg, died early Wednesday 
afternoon at Johnson County Memorial Hospital.  He had 
retired in 1963 from Hill Brothers Veneer Company.
      Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Vernal 
Mowary at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Eskew Funeral Home.  
Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery.
      Pallbearers were Larry Burton, Rickey Burton, George 
Burton, Maurice and David L. Burton and Tim Streeval.
      Burton was born in Adair County, Ky., Nov. 22, 1897, 
the son of John William and Josephine Shaw Burton.  He 
married Mary Emma Holt in October 1927 and she survives.  
He was a member of Edinburg Separate Baptist Church, 
Odd Fellows and Moose Lodges.
      Other survivors include eight children, Raymond Lloyd, 
Maurice Dale, Harold Leonard, Howard Wayne and Charlotte 
Ann Burton, Violet Sue Lindsey and Josephine Jane Johnson,
 all of Edinburg, and Margaret Lillie Willey, Oscoda, Mich; 
a sister, Florence Burton of Edinburg; a brother, Russell 
Burton, Columbua, Ky., 41 grandchildren and 45 great-
grandchildren.
