Roxy Pearl Bush  
      Roxy Pearl Bush, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, 
at Homeview Nursing Home of Franklin. She was a 
lifetime resident of Johnson County.  She was born 
Oct. 9, 1911, in Johnson County. Her parents were 
William and Elizabeth Viola (Parker) Bush. 
      Survivors include three nieces, Montrew Gross of 
Franklin, Viola Ryan of Greentown and Maryellen 
Young of Kokomo.  She was preceded in death by 
two brothers, Elba LeRoy Bush and Rolly Bush; 
and a sister, Ruby Coffman.  She was a 1930 graduate 
of Franklin High School.  
      She was employed by Johnson County Farm Bureau 
as a secretary, by Swanks Department Store and Morris 
5 and 10 Store as a clerk and by Morgan Canning Facility 
as a tomato packer.  She was a member of Franklin Memorial 
Christian Church, where she was a member of the Sunday 
school class.  
      The Rev. Larry McAdams will conduct a private family 
service. There will be a private family calling. Burial will 
be at Greenlawn Cemetery of Franklin.  Arrangements are 
being handled by Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin.
