William D. Cordray
      William D. Cordray, 87, a former Edinburgh 
resident, died Monday morning in Decatur County 
Hospital, Greensburg.  He had resided at the 
Greensburg Oddfellow Home.
      A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. 
today at Eskew Funeral Home.  Burial followed 
at Rest Haven Cemetery.
      Born in Bartholomew County March 10, 
1896, he was the son of John and Mary (Stinebaugh) 
Cordray.  He married Mabel McKee, who died 
in 1955.
      He lived most of his life in Edinburgh where 
he worked as a farmer in the Camp Atterbury area 
prior to World War II.  He was also a self-employed 
truck driver.
      Mr. Cordray was a veteran of World War I 
and a member of Old Union Church of Christ.
